Loft Renovations: Scope of Work

Snitzer loft renovations begin with the interior demolition of all non structural building elements. This allows the sandblasting of the interior to expose the building's original character, whether wood (post/beam construction, tongue & groove ceilings) or concrete (columns/support beams/ceilings).

The buildings then receive entirely new heating, A/C, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, roofing and elevator systems. All windows are replaced with dual pane thermo insulated glass.

Our construction of either residential or office space is designed to be sound retardant. Sound batting and multi-layer drywall is used for demising walls. Old wood flooring is sealed with a 2" layer of concrete atop which our new hardwood flooring is installed.

Once the building's shell and core construction is complete, we use high grade materials for the completion of our interior finishes. These finishes include: solid core doors, select grade oak flooring, premium cabinetry with 42" uppers, oversize soaker tubs and premium plumbing fixtures.
